Margaret Katherine "Peggy" Berry was born July 20, 1923 in Okeechobee, Florida. Her parents were the late F. Ralph and Thelma Alderman Brookman. She lived the last two years of her life at Parrs at Springhurst in Louisville, Kentucky and died on November 12, 2020.
After high school Margaret worked as a file clerk for Pan American Airways in Dinner Key, Florida during WWII. During her lifetime she was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
She was also preceded in death by three husbands, William H. Swasey, Donald W. Barlow and Bob Berry; two sons, Don Barlow, Jr. and John Barlow.
Margaret is survived by one son, William Allen Swasey; and four daughters, Gail Mueller, Ellen Colliard, Dianne Summitt and Carol Barlow; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
There will be a family memorial service on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11 am at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia. Arrangements by Newcomer - E. Louisville Chapel .
