Actress, Singer. She will be remembered for her originating the role of 'Sheila Franklin' in the Broadway play "Hair" (1968 to 1972). Born Lynn Jean Kellogg, her father was a chemist, she briefly attended the University of Wisconsin, prior to embarking on her show business career. She broke into TV with a role in the serIal "The Edge of Night" and followed this with a part in an episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies." She co-starred opposite Elvis Presley in the film "Charro!." (1969) and had further television credits with "It Takes a Thief" and "Mission: Impossible." Additionally, she performed as a vocalist on such TV programs as "The Johnny Cash Show," "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," and "The Mike Douglas Show." She went on to work in Christian television.
