Ollie Mae (Peace) Anderson went Home to be with her Lord, April 8, 2019 at Delray Beach, Florida. Ollie Mae was 98 years old, twenty-one days shy of being 99 years old. Ollie Mae was born April 29, 1920 in Ludowici, Long County, Georgia. She has previously presided in Miami, FL., North Miami Beach, FL., West Hollywood, FL., Macclenny, FL., Fayetteville, NC and her last residence was in Delray Beach, FL. She was a member of the Church of God and attended until her health declined in the past few years and was not able to attend church. Ollie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Olive Peace; her husband of 62 + 1/2 years at his death, James Leonard Anderson; 2 sisters, Olene (Peace) Mosley, Nethera (Peace) Ball; 7 brothers: Wallace, Alva, Robert, Hubert, James Allen, and twins: Adrian and Allen; 1 son, Marvin Edward Anderson; 1 granddaughter, Kimberley (Anderson) Alzate.
Ollie Mae is survived by her remaining four children: James (Marge) Anderson of Pembroke Pines, FL., Tom (Jean) Anderson of Parrish, FL., Jeanette (Jim) Haynes of Delray Beach, FL., and Linda (Anderson) Amendola of Fayetteville, NC; seven grandchildren: Jeffrey Anderson, Daniel Amendola, Josephine (Anderson) Zollo, Denise Anderson, Karin (Anderson) Lui, Edward Anderson, Neisa (Anderson) Vandervort; twelve great grandchildren, Lauren (Anderson) Caslen, Alyssa Anderson, Naomi Alzate, Donovan Fletcher, Alexie Chung, Alyssa (Amendola) Gainer, Joseph and Antoinette Amendola, Christopher Zollo, Parker and Anna Cate Lui, Marina Anderson; two great-great grandchildren, Adalee Brooke Caslen and Everett Neil Fletcher. She will be greatly missed by many family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Ollie Mae's life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12:00PM at Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday an hour prior to service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
