Rogers Jr was born on January 18, 1936, in Detroit, MI to the late Ralph B. Rogers Sr. and Gladys E. (Baker) Rogers. Gladys R. (Kantola) Rogers was born on August 28, 1931, in Moorland Township, MI, to the late Sylvester and Hilma (Pietila) Kantola. They married on June 8, 1963 in Ravenna, MI. They are survived by their 3 children, Thomas (Patricia) Rogers of Ravenna, Kristen (Tim) Schuppe of Muskegon, and Brett Rogers of Ravenna; 4 grandchildren, Madisen Schuppe, Camryn Rogers, Brendan Schuppe and Laine Rogers; Ralph’s sister, Elizabeth Carpenter of Chicago; Gladys’ brother, Rudolph Kantola of Illinois, and 3 sisters, Edna Johnston of Indiana, Gertrude Veeneman of Coopersville and Elizabeth Campbell of Greenville, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. They were preceded in death by their parents; Ralph’s sisters, Patricia Hamlin and Barbara Rogers; Gladys’ brothers, Arthur, Alfred, Arnold, Thomas Kantola, and sister, Eunice Volkers.
