Mr. Leroy Maurice Walker, Jr. 70, of Indianapolis passed away on the afternoon of September 18, 2019. Mr. Walker was a member of Betel AME Church. An avid biker, he also liked walking his "funny" friends, reading, and enjoyed classical music and jazz. He loved being around friends and family and those who knew and loved him will cherish many special memories.
Those left to celebrate his life and cherish those special memories include his loving wife, Esther M. Walker; son, Devon Maurice Walker; daughter, Shawna Marie Walker; brother, Mark D. Walker, (Janet); sisters, Sandra Sharpe, (Dell), Marsha Smith, and Alice Brooks, (Tommy); granddaugher, Layla Gaines; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 12:00 noon with calling from 10:00 am until time of services at Bethel AME Church located at 6417 Zionsville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268. Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of services.
