Professional Football Player. For ten seasons (1976 to 1980 and 1982 to 1986), he played at the nose tackle and defensive tackle positions in the National Football League with the San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Rams. Raised in California where he attended Crenshaw High School, he played collegiate football at San Jose State University. Signed by the San Diego Chargers during the 17th round of the 1974 NFL Draft, he began playing professionally with the Southern California Sun of the World Football League (1975). He went on to play in 118 career regular season NFL games. He died from cancer.
