Helen was retired, having been a pharmacy technician at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Illinois for many years. She was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Broughton, where she served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher as well as custodian. Helen enjoyed crafting, crocheting and taking care of her birds and cats. She loved her children very much and cherished her time with them.
Helen is survived by her children, Charles David Cantrell and Debra June Cantrell; a brother Don Mayberry and six grandcats.
Graveside Services for Helen Fern Cantrell will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 16, 2020 at New Prospect Cemetery in Broughton, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home.
