Randal D. “Randy” Harris, 35, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Lafayette, died as a result of injuries suffered in an accident on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in San Antonio. Born August 28, 1979 in Lafayette, he was the son of Everett Dale Harris of Dayton, IN and the late Rebecca (Foster) Harris.

He had worked as an aviation mechanic for San Antonio Aerospace for the past 3 years and prior to that he worked at Hamilton Aviation at Davis Monahan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ. He was a member of Victory Christian Center. Randy was an avid outdoorsman and loved working on airplanes. His whole life was based around his children and he loved being with them.

Surviving with his father are his two children, Asia Shanée Harris and Jayden Randal Harris, his sister Angela Michael of Lafayette and his nieces and nephews Kayla Everest, Taylor Boring, Autumn Hale, Patrick Michael, and Abbie Collins. He was preceded in death by his mother Rebecca Harris and a sister, Regina Harris.
