DAVIS, JOHN DANIEL, 83, of Walton, Indiana, Expires; final Rites Wednesday Final rites for John Daniel Davis, 83, who died Monday at 7:30 AM at the St Joseph Hospital after a long illness will be at 1:30 Wednesday at the Wolf Funeral home Walton, Indiana. The Rev Dean Cornelius will officiate and burial will be in Buffalo, Indiana The body is at the Wolf funeral home where friends may call Tuesday. Born in Pall Mall ,Tennessee November 30, 1868 he was the son of William Riley Davis and Margaret Evans Davis Pyle. He married Ermine Stewart in 1894 who died in Jan 1929. Later he married Jenny Cheek Patton who died in 1942. He was a member of the Walton Methodist Church. Survivors are one son Roy of Lucerne, Indiana . Two sisters Mrs Lawrence Frogge of Wolf RiverTennessee and Mrs Ermine Sharp of Monticello, Kentucky and two brother Dillard Pyle of Pennsylvania and Dean Pyle of Canada .
