US MARINE CORPS

Gary Wayne Hanson, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Gary was born in Tuscon, Arizona on July 8, 1954 to Martin and Corrine Hanson. He was raised in Commerce City, Colorado and graduated from Adams City High School. The Hanson family moved to Texas in 1975. He proudly joined and served our country in the US Marine Corp shortly after High School. Gary loved God first; his family second and loved to sing anything with anyone. He was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, his boisterous tenor voice, his sense of humor and how he always gave to anyone who needed anything. His biggest joy in life was his family. Those who went before him and gladly greeted him when he crossed the gates of Glory were his parents, sister Starla; brother, Paul; grandsons Angel and Josh. Those who still cherish his memory are his daughters: Jessica Hanson, Nancy Albert and husband Andrew; Dominique Montoya, Felicia Jackson & husband Kelly; Christina Winters and Tonya Wareham and husband Doug. He was the proud grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of five. Also missing him are his siblings: Carolyn and husband Glenn Waddell; Dale and wife Linda Hanson; Carl and wife Lucha Hanson and Carla and husband Ricky Null and several nieces, nephews and tons of cousins and friends he all loved.
