Evelyn Ross, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her home near Clubb, MO. She was born August 19, 1934 at Hayti, MO, the daughter of Arthur Luke and Luna (Horton) Luke.
Evelyn was a 1951 graduate of Greenville High School and was married to Ralph Ross September 11, 1954 at Silva. A long time resident of Clubb, she was a homemaker and a lifelong member of New Hope General Baptist Church in Silva.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Arthur and Luna Luke and one great grandchild, Zane Wilson.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ralph Ross, of the home, 4 children, Dennis Ross and his wife Ellen, of Piedmont, Dan Ross and his wife Connie, of Clubb, Don Ross and his wife Sandy, of Clubb and Regina Wilson and her husband Greg, of Clubb.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, David Ross and his wife Crystal, Timothy Ross and his wife Esperanza, Hillary Henson and her husband Tyler, Emily Strickland and her husband Tracey, Alicia Schupbach and her husband Chris, Ashley Sullivan and her husband Trevor, Seth Wilson, Rachel Bronander and her husband Job, along with 23 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held at 10 AM Wednesday at the New Hope General Baptist Church in Silva. Funeral services followed at 12 PM Wednesday at the church with Pastor Dan Ross officiating. There was a congregational song and Evelyn's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all provided special singing. David Ross, Timothy Ross, Hilary Henson, Emily Strickland, Alicia Schupbach, Ashley Sullivan, Seth Wilson and Rachel Bronander served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Ross Family Cemetery.
