Lucille Edna Cooper Morgan, 99, widow of the late Richard Nathaniel Morgan, died Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late E.A. "Cap" and Carria Hudson Cooper.
Mrs. Morgan was a longtime member of Monaghan Methodist Church. She loved working in her flower garden, fishing and crocheting. She had a well known "sweet tooth" and loved her desserts.
She is survived by son Richard Morgan; six grandchildren; Kandice Morgan, Barry Morgan (Tamara Rae), Alex Morgan Jr., Melissa Baldwin (Jason), Karen Frady, and Tiffany Register; four great grandchildren, Evan, Caleb, Ashley and Justin; a sister, Margaret Burns; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Alex and Allen Morgan, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Morgan; two brothers and seven sisters.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
