Tony Clinton Williams is the sixth and last child of Hugh and Gaither Pearl Ware Williams. Tony was first married in 1957 to Barbara Jean Reeder, they had three children: Tresha Carol, Steven Randall and Roger Scott. Tony and Barbara were divorced in 1972.
Tony married a second time to Claudia Ann Mays on October 18, 1975.

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Tony Clinton Williams, 80, of Punta Gorda died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020. He was born in Bragg City, Missouri, to Hugh and Gaither Williams on Dec. 27, 1939.
Tony was wed to Claudia Mays Laucis on Oct. 18, 1975.
He was a member of New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte, Florida.
He served in the U.S. Army and later received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
He worked as a clinical laboratory director for over 40 years in hospitals in five different states, including the hospital in Punta Gorda in the 1960s. In 1998 he retired from Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau after 24 years of service in order to play golf in Arkansas. In 2014 he and Claudia moved to Punta Gorda to enjoy warmer weather.
Tony loved God, his family, country, playing golf and traveling. One of his most memorable travel and service experiences was a medical mission trip to Ecuador. Tony also used his clinical lab expertise to volunteer at the free medical clinic.
He is survived by wife, Claudia Williams, of the home; five children, daughter Tresha Carol (late Johnny) Walker, son Steven Randall (Karen) Williams, son Roger Scott (Maggie) Williams, stepdaughter Amy Marie (J.P.) Arpin and stepson Jason Eric Laucis; 13 grandchildren, Chris (Kerri) Hall, Amy Walker, Ashley (Rick) Dobbs, Steven (Tameeka) Williams, Stephanie (Phil) Hopewell, Mateo Williams, Justus (Serina) Walker, Sabrina Williams, Tyler (Megan) Arpin, Madison Arpin, Meghan Arpin, David (Samantha) Williams and Alicia Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Alex Hall, Cole Hall, Cooper Hall, Elizabeth Pfaff, Olivia Walker, Maeby Williams, Abel Williams, Paul Walker and Wren Hopewell; and many nephews and nieces.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and John Williams, and sister, Madge.
A private service will be held.
