Bobby Dean Griffin passed November 11, 2020, Bobby “Dean” Griffin was born July 23, 1941 in Thomasville Ga to Clyde Griffin and Mrytle Benton, deceased. Dean was a gentle man of nature and loved farming where he grew up following his daddy on the farm. He enjoyed fishing and exploring all the creek beds around his home. He loved working in his garden and was always willing to share with his friends and family. During his later life he spent 20 years at Hood Industries as a machine operator. Since working with wood as a hobby he could tell you the names of most kinds of trees here in South Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed listening to Charles Stanley. Dean is survived by his wife Martha and 4 step-children. Also, a daughter Julie Morales (Omar) and 2 grandchildren. Sisters Diane Clayton (Charles) and Sarah Bennett (James). Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He had his constant fur baby Toby who kept him on his toes 24/7. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 14th at Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Visitation at 10:00 and funeral service will follow at 11:00. Mask are required please.
