Ashley Marie Lois French, age 24, passed away Monday November 9, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Plainview Baptist Church. Ashley will be laid to rest close to her brother Dakota French, who preceded her in death on August 23, 2016, in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the church.
Ashley was born in Guilford County, a former student of Eastern Guilford High School, and was a waitress at Tex & Shirley Family Restaurant.
Ashley was a fun loving free spirit who was loved by all, she loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was quick witted and her infectious smile could light up a room.
In addition to her brother Dakota, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill “Paw” Bowers, Judy & Ray French; great-grandfather Robert Moore.
Ashley is survived by her mother Debra French of Gibsonville; father Jamie French of Whitsett; brother Dustin French of the home; grandmother Wanda Bowers of Gibsonville; great-grandmother Edna Nicks of Elkin; the love of her life Chris Chancellor; and her faithful canine companion Bella.
