Connie A. Gore, of Ste. Genevieve passed away on May 13, 2015 at the age of 74 . She was born in Weingarten on October 25, 1940 to the late Eugene Wright and Frances Wampler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gore in 2013; a granddaughter, Linsey Dann; and a sister Willa Gore. Connie spent most of her life near Weingarten, where she loved the countryside. She loved working in the yard, planting flowers and trees. She was an accomplished seamstress who made most of the clothing for her five daughters. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, especially her trademark yeast rolls. Connie was proud of her family and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Survivors include five daughters, Tammy (Mrs. Delano) Walker, Sheila (Mrs. Brian) Wright, Kelly Gore Hartupee, Vicki Gore Snider and Lori Dickerson; eleven grandchildren, Courtney White, Kylee Walker, Kyle Wright, Brian Wright, Josh Dann, Amanda Kennedy, Gunner Buff, Zack Thomure, Laney Bates, Darryll Dickerson, Jr. and John Dickerson; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Becky (Mrs. Paul) Young, Shirley Hall and Marcia Shoemake; one brother, Randy DeGrant; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
