Lois Marian Henderson of Harrisburg, AR, departed this life Monday, November 10, 2020, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR, at the age of 90.

She was born April 3, 1930 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Norman Tanner Ellis and Lois Muriel Frye.

Lois studied music at Michigan State University for three years. After college she became a homemaker and gave music lessons. Lois was a member of the Greenfield Baptist Church when she was able to attend. She was a very good lady with a huge heart and an even bigger sense of humor. She loved to sing and play piano. She played piano for the Oak view General Baptist Church and her son lead the singing. She also played the violin and recorded a pianist album in Interlochen, MI. Lois had a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norman Tanner Ellis and Lois Muriel Frye, her husband John Walker Henderson, and her granddaughter Chloe Harper.

She is survived by her son Eric (Edna Sue) Henderson of Harrisburg, AR, her daughters Cheryl Marie (Todd) Brinks of Spring Lake, Michigan and Brenda Grace (Kevin) Klopp of Muskegon, Michigan, and her brother in law Joe Mannino of Okemos, Michigan.

Family and friends may visit Gregg Weston Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Boliver Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR at 1:00 p.m.
