Obituary of Clarence "Jay" Taylor

Services to honor the life of Mr. Clarence “Jay” Taylor, Jr., 84, will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Assembly of God, “Church of the Cross”. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeff Gravis along with Bro. Ken Richmond. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive guest beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Jay was the epitome of a “Good Man”. He loved the LORD and he loved his church. As a member of Central Assembly of God, he served his fellow Christian brothers and will be deeply missed. He served his country in the U.S.A.F. and later retired from AT&T after 38 years of employment. Jay was also a commercial pilot, member of AMA Association, and enjoyed sky diving.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Martin; and his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Glenda; sister, Judith Craddock and husband Robert; grandchildren, Brandy and Jeff Martin; step-daughter, Stacy Kowtko; several great-grandchildren, along with numerous extended family and friends.
