Raymond Jackson Hall, Jr. went to meet his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2020, after a two month illness in Oklahoma City, OK. Raymond was born on July 16, 1945, in San Francisco, CA. Most of his life was spent in Oklahoma City and Edmond. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1963 and attended Central State College. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was stationed aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard. Raymond spent many years working in the oil field services area, mostly with his father, Ray Sr., at H&R Oil Field Services Co.

When Ray Sr. was in his nineties with a still full social life, Raymond graciously moved in with him to become chauffeur, companion, and general “good buddy.” It turned out to be a special and rewarding time for both of them. Raymond was seemingly quiet, but had a fun sense of humor, and was always the one who found time to get to know his neighbors. Known to his family and friends as a kind and generous soul, he will be missed. Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Raymond J. and Vergie Hall. He is survived by his sister, Judy Barnett, Oklahoma City; niece Kristin Hickman and her husband Trey, St. Paul, MN; nephew Mike Barnett, Arlington, VA; and great-nephews Charles and Jack Hickman.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.

Under the care of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors.
