Beloved son, cherished brother, devoted uncle and friend of many, Larry Edward Alexander, age 59, passed away at his home in Marshall, Texas on Monday, October 14, 2019. He was born in Marshall, Texas on January 6, 1960 to Henry Lawrence and Mary Catherine (Morris) Alexander. Larry is preceded in death at a young age by his mother, Mary Catherine Morris Alexander and later in life by his mom, Linda Kyles. He is survived by his father, Henry Lawrence Alexander and his wife, Lisa; his sisters and brothers, Carol Lynette Martinez and her husband, Izzy, Greg Jones and his wife, Deborah, Darlene Grooms and her husband, David, Kip Jones and his wife, Lisa, Kirk Jones, Cheryl Thomas and her husband, Marty and Kim Thomas. He is also survived by his best friends, Cecil Alexander and Danny Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Larry worked most recently as a Security Guard for Snyder Industries. He loved to fish, play cards and spend time at the casinos. He attended school in Marshall and graduated from South Garland High School. Larry would do anything for anyone when he was asked to help; however, his stubborn side would shine if he was TOLD to do something. He collected knives, loved dragons and wolves but the true passion in his life was the time spent with his nieces and nephews, who adored him. Larry’s life was well lived, he was well loved and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Private Services will be held by the family.
