Krista Donielle Smith went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
She was born on February 7, 2003, in Greensboro, NC, the daughter of Jerry Smith and Dana Craddock. Jessica Smith and Page Craddock were blessed to embrace Krista as their own.
Krista was a loving and compassionate, young lady who was full of life. She had the most beautiful smile that would light up the room.
Krista loved family game and movie nights. She enjoyed traveling, especially family trips. Her love of New York City was unsurpassed.
Spending time with her family and best friend, Erica, brought her the most joy. Krista attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and recently New Bessemer Baptist Church.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was in her Senior year at Western Guilford High School.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ron Close. Krista is survived by her father Jerry Smith (Jessica), mother Dana Craddock (Page); 3 brothers Caeleb, Solomon and Jaxon; grandparents, Roy Lee and Dorothy Smith, Donna Close, Ricky and Jennifer Taylor, Marsha Dunn and Jude and Sheila Craddock.
She leaves behind several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
