Mr. Bobby G. Byrd, age 72, of Marianna, Arkansas died at his home Sunday afternoon November 8, 2020 after a long illness. Born May 12, 1948 to Eugene Byrd and Vera Haynes Byrd, he was a fireman with the Marianna Fire Department and manager of the Lee County Water Department. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his son Bubba Byrd (Ashley) of Marianna, daughter Tammy Guynes (James) of Marianna, brother Lloyd Byrd (Brenda) of Forrest City, four grandchildren, and a special caregiver Sadie Ross.
Graveside services November 11, 2020 at Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery in Marianna. Honorary Pallbearers Larry and Gary Bryant, Marianna Fire Department, and Lee County Water Department personnel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
