Jerry Wayne Wilkerson, 74, of Auxvasse, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020, at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Auxvasse Cemetery with Military Honors.

Jerry was born on May 13, 1946, in Sikeston, the son of Clyde and Treavel (Fowler) Wilkerson.

He served his country in the Army during Vietnam as a Long-Range Recon Patrol (LRRP). LRRP units were later folded into the Army Rangers. Jerry received many medals including a purple heart.

Jerry is survived by daughter, Rachel Clinkingbeard (John Curtis) of Auxvasse; son, Justin Vorhees of WA; nine grandchildren, Raylynn Dollens, Jared Wilkerson, Jr., Gavin Hutchason, Jacob Hutchason, Madalynn Hutchason, Aiden Curtis, Kamron Vorhees, Riverlynn Vorhees and Amaryllis Vorhees; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jared Wilkerson and six brothers, Norman, Carmen, Kermit, Thomas, Steve, and Jeff; and five sisters, Norma, Hazel, Jobina, Patrica, and Wanda.
