Our beloved mother, grandmother & friend, Frances Louise Fielding Cox, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2019 in Pasco, Washington. Frances was born on Dec 9, 1925 in Shelley, Idaho to Nephi & Sophia Fielding.

Frances was active in her high school years with cheerleading, student body president and was her class Valedictorian. She met her sweetheart Vern Cox & they married in Sept of 1944 and Vern went off to war one month later. After Vern served in World War II they moved to Washington in 1946.

They had three children: Cynthia Drollinger, married to Lonnie, Phil Cox married to Donna and Linda Watkins, married to Ken.

Frances worked beside her husband farming, running a potato warehouse and raising cattle while her children were young. When the children left home they built a trailer park in Grand Coulee and then moved to Mattawa in 1974. For 40 years they resided there enjoying the early years of farming, and various business ventures. During that time Frances sold Real Estate for 25 years. Vern passed away in 2010 and in 2015 Frances moved to Canyon Lakes in Kennewick where she resided until now. She was preceded in death by her 10 siblings & parents.

Funeral services will be held on February 22, 2019 with a viewing from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and services beginning at 11:00 a.m.
