James Evans Everette was the son of Evans Martin and Earcell Everette was born May 12, 1945. He went to be with the Lord Jesus on Nov. 10, 2020 at The Cottages in Rison , AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sharon Annette Everette Ogle , brother Marcus D. Everette and brother in law Larry Kraus.
He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sue Rainey Everette whom he married on May 15, 1964,
daughter Carmen Sue Everette Montgomery ( Dan) , of Linn ,MO. son Jimmy Ray Everette (Christina) of Cabot , AR.
brothers Danny (Debbie) Everette of Portland Tenn. , Johnny (Joyce) Everette of Pine Bluff, AR. Sisters Annie Everette Kraus . and Laverne Evertte( Stan) Motsinger of Pine Bluff AR. .
grandchildren Jemeri Ogle, Aron James ogle of Pine Bluff, Elisabeth Montgomery and Essie Grace Montgomery of Linn MO. and Brianna and Ethan of Cabot.James Evans Everette, age 75, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Born May 12, 1945, in Sherrill, AR, he was a son of the late Evans Martin Everette and Earcel O’dean Gardner Everette.

He attended Watson Chapel Schools.

Mr. Everette worked as Operator 1 in the pulp department at International Paper Company. He retired after 40 years of service.

He was a member of New Harvest Church of God, where he served as an elder.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Everette Ogle; and a brother, Marcus D. Everette.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Rainey Everette, whom he married on May 15, 1964 at Pine Bluff; a daughter, Carmen Montgomery (Daniel); a son, Jimmy Everette (Christina); two brothers, John Everette (Joyce) and Danny Everette; two sisters, Annie Krause and Laverne Motsinger (Stan) and his grandchildren, Jeremi Ogle, Aaron Ogle, Elisabeth Montgomery, and Essie Montgomery.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at New Harvest Church of God with Pastor Travis Creekmore officiating.

Burial will follow in Flat Bayou Cemetery at Altheimer by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
