Sharon Freda Kennedy 68 of Cumming, GA formerly of Decatur, GA died unexpectedly at her home on 11-1-2020. Predeceased by husband Brady W. Kennedy, Jr. on 4-8-2011; father, James Mell Brooks on Feb. 1954; mother, Ruth Still Brooks on June 2019; and brother, Nathan M. Brooks in 1994.
Survived by daughter, Kelli (Dwight "Chic") James of MD and their children, Katherine James and Chase James; brother, Mel (Nancy) Brooks of GA and their son, Beau (Brittany) Brooks of GA; aunt, Yvonne "Bonnie" (Johnny) Long and their son, Jon (Dawn) Long and their children, Hayden Long and Kendall Long; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Born in Atlanta, GA 3-16-1952, she was a 1970 graduate of Avondale High School. She dedicated 30+ years to working with special needs children and adults for the State of Georgia...........
