James Oden, 62, died Saturday, June 17, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bellafant Tabernacle with the Rev. Claude Bellafant officiating. Burial will take place in Oden Cemetery.
He was the son of the late John Henry Oden and Ruby Buford Oden, and was a native of Maury. County. He was employed with John Arnold Concrete Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ella Thompson Oden.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Carmen Oden of Franklin, David S. Oden of Franklin, and Kimothy Oden of Nashville; step daughter, Felicia McClain; brothers, Mose Oden Sr. of Spring Hill, and Billy Oden of Franklin; sisters, Pricilia Lee of Spring Hill, Lillie Brown of Huntsville, Ala., and Ruby Ann McCullum of Blanche; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Baxter Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
