ARCHDALE – Michael Todd Gantt, 52, died Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Oak Island.

He was born May 20, 1968, in Rockingham County and was the son of Don and Cora Gantt Joyce. He graduated from Randleman High School Class of 1986 and worked for many years with Thomas Built Bus as a Quality Control Inspector. He was a member of Sophia Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and golf. Todd was an avid Duke Blue Devil, Pittsburgh Steeler and Los Angeles Dodger fan and coached community and travel baseball teams and community basketball and football. Todd was a loving husband, father and son.

Todd is survived by his wife, Tonya Beasley Gantt, whom he married on September 24, 1994; two sons, Dakota Gauge Gantt and Dalton Gunnar Gantt; daughter, Taylor Ashlyn Gantt, all of the home; parents, Don and Cora Gantt Joyce of Randleman; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Janet Beasley of Sophia; brother-in-law, Craig Beasley (Lori) of Asheboro; nephew, Kaden Beasley; and niece, Kenzi Boling (Brett) of Denton

Funeral service celebrating Todd’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2020, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Bill Barnes and Rev. Robert Hyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
