Mr. Anthony Clyde “Tony” Baker, 51, of Diamond, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Tony entered this life on September 26, 1969, in Bellflower, California, son of Clyde Joseph, Betty Joyce Baker and Mary Kathleen (Brown) Reeves. He was raised in Oklahoma and was a 1988 graduate of Wagoner High School in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He has resided in Diamond, Missouri, since 1994. For the last sixteen plus years, Tony has been employed by Schreiber Foods in Carthage. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and was an avid history buff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Joseph Baker; a sister, Robin Wingate; and a brother, William Jett.

Tony is survived by his wife, Wendy Baker of the home; five children, Chelsie Baker of Diamond, Cameron Baker and wife, Carrie, of Diamond, Caitlin Baker of Joplin, Corbin Baker of Diamond and Carlie Baker also of Diamond; seven grandchildren; his mothers, Betty Joyce Baker of Joplin and Kathy Brown of the state of Texas; four brothers, Greg, Eddie, Jeff and Tommy Baker; three sisters, Leslie Baker, Amy Streetman and Angela Jett; as well as a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, November 12, 2020 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
