At Rest
Called to her Heavenly home just as the glad Christmastide was drawing near, all that is mortal of Mrs. Louise H. Beeson, was tenderly laid to rest Monday afternoon in the family burying ground at Floyd's Chapel, amid the scenes of her old home.
After a brief service conducted at the residence here, the funeral cordage moved to Floyd's Chapel, where funeral services were he.d by Rev. R. Hart, pastor of the Floyd. Havel Methodist church. He paid her memory an eloquent tribute in the course of the services, touching on the nobility of her life as a Christian, wife and mother.
Her last resting place was mantled with numerous beautiful floral tributes, expressions of esteem a d sympathy for the loved ones in their hour of sor.
The acting pallbearers included Messrs. Lester, Tyree, Steve and Willey May, Tenberg and Bennett.
Her funeral was largely attended, many coming out today her memory a final earthly tribute, among them numerous old friends and neighbors living in that section, as well as many friends of the family from here and over this section.
May the husband and other loved ones at the Christmastide be comforted with that peace which passé the understanding .
"Alas, they cried, she never saw the
morn,
But fell asleep, outwearied with
the strife,
Nay, rather, she arose and met the
dawn
Of everlasting life."
