From the Gettysburg Times, October 2, 1923:
Mrs. Elizabeth A. Schriver, widow of George Schriver, died at the home of her son, Harry Schriver, Gettysburg R. 6. Monday evening, aged 80 years, 6 months and 6 days. Death was caused by a paralyze stroke.
Mrs. Schriver was the last surviving member of the family of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Hankey of Gettysburg, and was the mother of six children, four of whom are still living.
Her survivors are: Philip Jacob of Bendersville; Elizabeth Ann (Mrs. Harry C. Bucher), Biglerville; and Harry Elmer, Butler township; nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Biglerville Lutheran Church in which she was an active member.
