She was born May 12, 1958, in Prairie du Chien, WI, the daughter of Duane and Maxine (Lathrop) Oswald.
Deb married David Ward on November 24, 1979, at the United Methodist Church in Wauzeka.
She worked for many years at Monona Wire Corporation and Prairie Industries and she always took pride in the quality of her work.
Deb appreciated tradition, nature, and loved to pull for an underdog story.
She was happiest surrounded by family, especially on holidays.
Her strong spirit will live on and she will be missed.
Deb is survived by her children, Joshua (Rebecca), Nicholas (Jodi), and Lacey; siblings, Diane Mullikin, Karen (Brian) Dombeck, Cheryl (Dave) Slaght, and David Oswald; grandchildren, Liliana and Hazel Ward; sister-in-law, Page Oswald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents, Duane and Maxine; grandson, Dean Ward; brother, Dennis Oswald; and brother-in-law, Larry Mullikin.
Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien. A private family service and burial in the Wauzeka Cemetery will be held immediately following.
