Mae Adams, 92, of Gillespie, IL, formerly of Alton, IL, died at Heritage Health of Gillespie, IL on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 7:54am. She was born August 29, 1928, in Moro, IL to Fred Hausman & Cora (Davis) Hausman. She married John Tucker and he preceded her in death in 1992. She then married William Freeman Adams and he preceded her in death in 2009. She was a box fabricator for Owens IL Glass. Mae was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Bethalto, IL and Red Hat Society. She is survived by her children, Geraldine (Earl) Harvill of Gillespie, IL, Darlene (Charles W.) Vaughn of Royal Lakes, IL, Vanessa (Ron) Baxter of Arkansas, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, daughter, Linda (Tucker) Kisner, son, Clifford Tucker, grandson, David Harvill, granddaughters, Paula and Elena and 1 great grandchild. Friends may call on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Cornerstone Church of Bethalto, IL from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Funeral services are Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:30 PM at Cornerstone Church of Alton, IL. Memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Church of Bethalto or Evergreen Place of Alton.
