Betty Lou Tannahill, age 62, of Arapahoe, NE passed away on April 13, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 19, 1951 at Topeka, KS to Robert & Ruby (Berry) Gifford.

She grew up at Havensville, KS and worked at the family dairy farm. She moved to Nebraska and attended college getting her degree in Nursing and became an LPN. She moved to Reno, NV and worked in a Nursing Home for a few years. She would then have to move back to Kansas to help take care of her grandmother. Later she would move to Arapahoe to be closer to family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elwood. She loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and taking care of animals of all shape and sizes, along with doing all kinds of carpentry work. Her love of life and work inspired everyone she knew.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother John Ira Tannahill, Step-Father Robert Gary Tannahill.

She is survived by son: Terry and wife Donna Tannahill of Arapahoe
