Michael Joseph Summers, 67, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born on February 20, 1953 to the late Charles Maurice Harris and Anna Mae Summers.

Michael was a member of the Eagles Club for over twenty years. In his early years, Michael was employed by Oliverio’s Peppers, which paid for his and his sister’s education. He also loved to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. Michael was self-employed and did carpentry, painting, and body work. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and wife. One of his passions was building models of old vintage cars. Michael and his children restored a 1975 Pontiac Lemans- which made him very proud.

He married his wife, Debra Lynn Myers Summers, on March 25, 1976 who survives. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his children, Michael J Summers, Jr, Shawn P Summers, and Marsha Gaskin Todd; and siblings, Carolyn Prescott and Kenneth of Florida, John Patrick Cain of Clarksburg, and Tony LeDoux and Maria of Illinois; one special aunt, Sharon Pratt, of Weston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by one brother, Albert Cain, Jr.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr/Rt 98, Clarksburg-with proper distancing and face masks, on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
