Charles W. “Charlie” Morrison, 71, of Pana passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 in his home. He was born October 27, 1949 in Pana, IL son of the late Carol & Vera (Zimmerman) Morrison. Charlie graduated from Litchfield High School. He received his master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and holds a PHD in English. Charlie was a parole officer, and had also worked for Farm Fans Inc., GSI and Davis Construction. He was a member of Pana Elks Lodge #1261, an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and loved to drink coffee.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a private family inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield, IL at a later date.
Memorials in Charlie’s honor may be made to Elks Crippled Children’s Fund and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
