Thomas Gordon Gill, age 87, of Fayetteville, AR, passed from this life Saturday, November 7, 2020, after a long battle with lung cancer.
He was born November 6, 1933, in La Port City, Iowa a son of the late Frank Gill and Mayme Lassen Gill.

Tom was a U.S. Marine veteran and a loyal John Deere employee for 36 years; he was always an example of Patriotism, responsibility and loyalty-Patriot and real MAN in the best interpretation of this definition. He was a highly disciplined, famous, and lovable member of the Razorback Usher Team in Fayetteville for more than 20 years and the national anthem performer for Razorback football, basketball, and baseball games. He was an avid book reader and a real book lover; his love of music was deep, and he had an opera grade voice.

Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who is survived by his wife Elena Gill; a daughter Diane Slick (Lisa Kiddie); sons, David Gill and Donald Gill (Lezlea Crow); grandsons John and Daniel and a great-grandson Christopher.

Cremation arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Due to pandemic circumstances there will be no public services.
