Betsy Smith Johnson, 89, of Robersonville, NC. passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Sunday, November 8, 2020. Betsy was born in Martin County on July 18, 1931 to the late Marion Ermon Smith and Allena Robertson Smith. She was married to the late William Archie Johnson and was a member of the Robersonville First Baptist Church.
Betsy is survived by her daughter; Glyn J. James and husband Doug of Robersonville, son; Jefferson Smith Johnson of Robersonville. She is preceded in death by her husband; William Archie Johnson, two sons; James Kevin Johnson and William Craig Johnson and sisters; Allena Johnson, Imogene Ross, Corrine Langley and Marquerite Johnson.
There will be a 11:00am graveside service held at Robersonville Cemetery on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Home Life Care of Williamston, Brookdale Senior Living of Greenville and Community Hospice for all the loving care they gave to their mother.
