Betty Marie (Dibean) Craven, 88, of Bradenton, passed away July 24, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Roy Craven. Born Feb. 23, 1928, in Owosso, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Frank Gale Tannehill and Alpha Elizabeth Tannehill. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Dibean; step-daughter, Sandra DeSears, 5 sisters and 1 brother. Betty was married in 1946 to Max Dibean and then married Roy Craven in 1992. Betty dedicated her life to her God Jehovah on July 14, 1962, and continued to serve him to the best of her ability as an imperfect human until she fell asleep in death. She now waits for the resurrection promised at John 6:40. She is also survived by her children, Martha (Alan) McCarthy, Janice (Billy) Rodgers, Frederick (Linda) Dibean, Lester (Connie) Dibean, and step-daughter, Diane (Junior) Spicer, and her sister, Joan Mallery, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date here in Bradenton and also in Owosso, Michigan. Manasota Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be made at ManasotaMemorial.com.
