Mr. Harry Lee Butler, 82, of Union City passed away 2:15 a.m. Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his home.

Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Curtis McLendon and Stephen Sutton will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Bishop Street Church of Christ Benevolence Fund or Mission Fund, 908 Bishop Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261.

Harry was born August 18, 1938, in Dyer County, son of the late Ernest and Hallie Bell (Rogers) Butler. He married Linda Sue (Fultz) Butler June 20, 1959. She survived. Harry served in the United States Navy, was a former member of the Union City Kiwanis Club and Bishop Street Church of Christ. He was the owner and operator of the former Blue Bell Cleaners in Union City for 32 years.

He is also survived by one son, Tony Butler of Union City; two daughters, Angie Valle (Adrian) of Union City and Shannon Taylor (Chad) of Fulton, Kentucky; one sister, Ernestine Marcum of Somerville; ten grandchildren, Shane Butler (Kimmy), Laken Butler, Jordi Lee Johnston (James), Hannah Swift, Stormy Valle, Zac Kelly, Nick Kelly, Rachel Kelly, Levi Kelly and Peyton Taylor; eight great grandchildren, Addison Butler, Gintry Swift, Georgia Johnston, Jensen Johnston, Jude Johnston, Genevieve Johnston, Cole Earls and Carder Kelly; one niece, Rene Coker of Dallas, Texas; and one nephew, Butch Escue of Somerville.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Butler; and one nephew, Ron Butler, Jr.
