Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the Jones Funeral Home this afternoon at 2 o'clock for the late Mrs. Nettie Irene Ayars, conducted b the Rev. Rallie Williams of the First Baptist church.
Mrs. Ayars died in Los Angeles, Calif., Thursday, March 18, inst. She was born at Houston, Texas, February 10, 1885. The body was received in Globe on the Sunday evening train. After the funeral service at the Jones Funeral Home the body will be taken to Pinal Cemetery for interment. The husband of Mrs. Ayars preceded her in death during the month of January this year. Mrs. Ayars is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Smithson, Los Angeles; Mrs. Chris Savoie, Globe; one son by her first marriage, Gene Stewart, For Shafter, Hawaiian Islands; mother, Mrs. Vernon King, Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Philips, Deming, N.M., Mrs. Mamie Howard, Hampton Roads, Va., Mrs. Molly Cruze, Rawlins, Wyo.; two brothers, John King, Santa Rita, N.M., and Clarence King, Wilmington, Calif. When Mrs. Ayars was 13 years old she moved to New Mexico with her parents. Most of her life was spent in Arizona and California.
