Katherine Sue Franklin, age 90, of McCaysville, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home. She was born in Copperhill, on July 29, 1930 to the late Martin Luther Talley and Etta Pauline Lanning Talley. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Katherine was a Godly, loving, mother and grandmother, who believed in the power of prayer. She was always smiling, and had a kind heart to everyone she knew. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Franklin; daughter, Rebecca York; sister, Margie Welch; and son-in-law, Michael Bond.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery.
