Sgt. Frank Lavigne, 30, died last night at the Army Air Base hospital at Richmond, VA, following several weeks' Illness. Sgt. Lavigne was born in this city and attended local schools. He was employed at the Sprague Specialties company, now the Sprague Electric company, before entering the regular army four years ago.. He served at several air bases in this country, including Westover field.
Sgt. Lavigne is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lavigne, and a daughter. Marilyn of a former marriage. He also leaves three sisters, Miss Flora Lavigne of Philadelphia, Pa, Mrs. E. Harvey of North Weymouth and Miss Theresa Lavigne of this city, and five brothers, John E., of New Jersey, Pvt. 1st Class Samuel who is in Italy, Pvt. 1st Class Joseph in England, Pvt. 1st Class Fred in Florida, and Pvt. 1st Class Arthur, who is in the Marshall Islands.
