Daniel L. King, age 56, of Hartsgrove Township, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly while traveling home on his motorcycle on September 24, 2020. Daniel was born on September 14, 1964 to David W. and Beverly (nee: Jones) King. He married his high school sweetheart Nancy (nee: Painter) King on March 1, 1986 in Thompson, Ohio. They spent 34 inseparable years together. He was the owner of Brothers Painting and Remodeling. He loved sharing his photos off his phone with anyone whom he came in contact. He thoroughly loved coaching football and was a mentor to so many kids. So many were touched by his kindness and loving nature.

King Danny aka “The Mayor,” was known for his huge personality, his smile and his incredible story telling of tall tales. He loved first and foremost his family, his motorcycles, fishing, and “shootin the shit” with anyone! He was always the life of the party. When Dan walked into the room you knew the party had begun.

He is survived by his parents, David W. (Priscilla) King of Madison, OH and Beverly Jones of Ashtabula; wife, Nancy King of Hartsgrove, OH; daughters, Sheena (Bryon) Wolcott of Cape Coral, FL, Ashley (Jesse Prater) King of Bristolville, Oh; brothers, David (Leslie) King of Painesville, Oh, Joseph Fink of Henderson, NV, Thomas (Amy) Jones of Chardon, OH and Jason Dewey of Chardon, OH and Papa’s grandchildren, who were the absolute love of his life, Alexis, Hunter, Kenna and Kayden. He will be deeply missed by so many family and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Thelma Brady and cousin, Shawn Wilkes.
