Mrs. C. L. Gilbert died this morning at 11:30 o'clock at her home, 372 Walnut Avenue, following an illness of seven weeks. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at ten o'clock, from the Alexander Funeral Home on West Main Street, conducted by Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mrs. Gilbert was a native of Nelson County, and prior to her marriage was Miss Margaret Herron.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. E. G. Bush and Mrs. R. C. Case, both of Charlottesville; one son, Allen Gilbert, of Waynesboro; one sister, Mrs. Ella Anderson, of Nelson County; and two brothers, John D. Herron, of Waynesboro, and G. Albert Herron, of Mt. Sidney.
