SOUTH BEND - John H. Czuk Sr., passed away at 3:17 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. John was born on September 3, 1919, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Josephine (Gadomski) Czuk. He was also preceded by four sisters, Marie Janowiak, Henrietta George, Angela Czuk and Bernice Ganns; and his son, John H. Czuk Jr.
On January 17, 1945, he married Evelyn M. Czuk in South Bend. She survives along
with their children, Gail Ann Martsolf of South Bend and Gary Joseph (Nancy) Czuk of Ft. Wayne; six grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude (Matt) Prikosovich of South Bend.
John retired as a printer from Associates. He was a member of American Legion Post 357, P.N.A. Fishermen's Club, Associates Men's Club, Associates Alumni Club, and Riddles Conservation club. John honorably served in the United States Army during World War II.
