Rev. W. W. Aldridge

Rev. William Warren Aldridge was born Nov. 29th 1861, and passed to his reward Dec. 28th, 1958. He was married to Miss Iris Rosala Parker, daughter of Rev. T. B. Parker, a local Methodist preacher. To them were born twelve children, three of whom died in infancy and the mother passed away in January, 1943.

In 1946, he was married to Mrs. H. H. Terry, who survives. He is also survived by six children; Mrs. H. O. Bridges, Mrs. Terry Owen, Parker S. Aldridge, C. Grady Aldridge, Rev. Hewlett Aldridge, and Mrs. R. E. Brown; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

His funeral services were held at Johnson's Chapel Church near Danville, Ala., by the Revs. Eaton Stevenson, W. G. Rhodes and W. L. Cole, and was buried in the adjoining cemetery.

Bro. Aldridge was a Methodist Local Preacher for about seventy years...
