Terry Lee West JR, 38, of North Matewan, WV, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at his home.
He was born December 4, 1981, in South Williamson, KY, the son of Kathy Earnest Gooslin of North Matewan,WV, and Terry Lee West SR, of Burnwell, KY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Ida Earnest; paternal grandparents, Minnie and Ireland West; one brother, Scott Hager and cousins, Billy Shannon Bolen and Charles Christian Daniels. He was a member of the Hardy Church of Christ.
Other than his parents he is survived by siblings, Kristie Bentley of Toler, KY, Timothy (Billie) West of Burnwell, KY, Tracy (Nicole) West of Burnwell, KY, Kandace (Tyler) Blankenship of North Matewan, WV, Cheyenne (Kyanna) West, Dakota (Lexi) West, Sherry (Paul) Varney of Burnwell, KY, and Trina (Rock) Alley. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Lockard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with Timothy West, Tracy West, Gerald Epling II, Tyler Blankenship and Mark O'Neal serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM on Tuesday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 11th, in the funeral home chapel. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is serving the West family.
