Ray Edison Brown went to join the love of his life, Betty, on November 4, 2020. Born April 9, 1928, in Stillwater, OK, he lived his whole life in Oklahoma. After high school, he joined the Navy and served during the Korean War. While in the service, Ray met Betty Kapka. They were married March 15, 1952, and settled in Oklahoma City after his graduation from Oklahoma A&M. Ray went to work for A&B Automotive before becoming a long-haul driver for Lee Way Motor Freight.
He leaves behind two daughters, Nancy Nakayama and husband Yas, of Broken Arrow, OK; and Marsha Grimm and husband Russ, of Bixby, OK; two grandchildren, Ryan Grimm and wife Kendra, of Littleton, CO; and Whitney Grimm, of Bixby, OK; and one great-grandchild, Finnley Grimm, of Littleton, CO; also, a large extended family throughout the country.
The family will have a small graveside service at the Resurrection Cemetery on Monday, November 9.
