near Ponce de Leon last Wednesday, Oct 4. Mrs Hardy died after amost 2 yrs of illness. She leaves a husband Shepherd and 7 children, Mary Jr, Monroe, Ezra, Leo, Earl, Rosette, and Charles; 4 sisters Mrs Frank Holman, Mrs Nora Elliott, Mrs Letty Champion, & Miss Idealia Smith, 2 brothers, Dan Smith, and Benjamin Smith whose is serving in South Pacific with the U S Army. Services were Thursday at Red Bay Presbyterian church, interment in Red Bay Cemetery.
